Our customers, much like the wider home care sector, are continually evolving to ensure the care needs of their clients are met, which is why it is essential that our home care management software, IQ:caremanager, continues to move forward.
Our customers play a vital role in helping us keep our software innovative, up-to-date, and relevant. Customer feedback is the lifeblood at Unique IQ, as we remain committed to delivering functionality that gives customers more control, better visibility, and a richer experience. This benefits both their team and the people they care for.
It is fair to say that we have been relatively quiet when it comes to shouting about the latest feature updates outside of our customer base; however, that is all about to change. Each month, we will provide an update on the latest developments within IQ:caremanager. We hope you find the updates interesting; if you have any questions or comments regarding our care management system, please get in touch.
October updates
Client and Carer Photographs
You can now upload and view client and carer photographs directly within their records in IQ:caremanager, and these images will also appear in the mobile app.
Key Benefits:
- Personalised Experience: Seeing client and carer photographs adds a personal touch to care, helping build stronger connections and rapport.
- Improved Recognition: Photographs help carers quickly and easily identify clients, which is particularly useful for new carers or temporary staff members. This leads to smoother and more confident service delivery.
- Consistency Across Platforms: Uploaded photographs in IQ:caremanager will automatically sync to the mobile app, ensuring a unified and seamless experience for both in-office and mobile staff.
Carer Scheduled Hours Display
The carer record now displays their scheduled hours on the rota tab, providing easy access to critical scheduling information directly within the carer profile.
Key Benefits:
- Simplified Management: Managers and coordinators can now view scheduled hours within the carer’s record, eliminating the need to toggle between screens or systems for scheduling information.
- Greater Efficiency: This new feature saves time and reduces admin workload by centralising scheduling data, making monitoring carer availability and workload quicker.
- Enhanced Accuracy: With scheduled hours visible at a glance, you can reduce scheduling conflicts and ensure carers are correctly allocated, leading to more efficient and balanced staffing.
